On this page, you will find links and flyers for activities, holiday camps and workshops for children, adults and families.

Engaging in community service provides children and adults with the opportunity to become active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society at large. Community service or volunteerism enables everyone to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most.

Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF)

The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) provides funding to Hounslow and other local authorities who then provide free holiday activities for eligible children.

HAF only operates in the following school holidays:

    • One week in Easter
    • Four weeks in the 6 weeks summer holidays
    • One week at Christmas – not at Green Dragon Primary

Ms Charles authorises Hounslow to release vouchers to eligible families as soon as they are made available, usually a month in advance of one of the holidays.

We place great importance on our links with various local community groups.

Green Dragon Primary School greatly enjoy the opportunity to help others and they rise to the challenge of supporting children and adults (as well as animals) in need, locally, nationally, and globally.

In recent years we have collected funds for charities such as Save the Children, Macmillan Cancer Nurses, Comic relief, to name but a few.

We have forged strong links with the local community centre and regularly visit Brentford Stadium for events.
