Green Dragon Primary School

School assemblies come in all shapes and all sizes. They’ve consisted of small groups of children, a whole year group or the entire school. But whatever their shape or size, all our assemblies have one thing in common. They’re a coming together of our children and teachers in one place for a shared purpose, to share information with them about events both in and out of school, in the local community or more on a national and international level.

So, during this ‘strange time’, when the world around us is so different to how we normally know it, we as a school community are continuing with our love of assemblies…virtually!

This will enable us to continue providing a fantastic opportunity building a strong sense of community, help reinforce our school’s ethos, its values and its mission statement, and continue to develop our identity – which are the hallmarks of our school.
